Reflection is an important part of student learning and leadership development. Staff have the responsibility to help students make connections between their curricular experiences, their curricular experiences, and their career aspirations.
In 2016-2017, advisors will be asked to recruit student leaders to participate in Aggies Commit: Reflections on Student Leadership. The purpose is to take a snapshot of co-curricular student learning, prepare students to be lifelong learners, provide resources for student organization advisors, and support the University’s Quality Enhancement Plan. Student leaders will be asked to respond to a prompt in October, November, before Spring Break, and after Spring Break. Advisors were trained on the process on September 12, 2016.
